Couple Extra Pics

We're officially at the eighth month mark and Maisey's arrival seems so close yet so far. I can't wait to meet this little boog but, forget Brian, I think I'm going to be right there with him in trouble. I already know and fully expect Maisey will have him wrapped tightly around her finger but I figured I would need to be the one to keep things in order around here. Trouble is, I find myself melting just looking at her in a 4D image; amazed at each of her little parts and the miracle she is. What in the world am I going to do when her beatiful face is staring at mine? Crazy how you can love someone so much you've yet to hold and fully know.

Anyway, here are a couple more pics from our 4D journey!

As her typical reaction, here's Maisey covering her face with her little fist. You can see her head is turned to the side and her ear that she's uses to listen in on all my conversations :).

Grandpa's favorite! She started out with two fingers up. Forget the sugar, here's the spice!

Taken right after she smacked the ultrasound equipment.

4D Ultrasond Take 3

So, after two previous tries, Maisey decided not to hide her face at our 4D ultrasound. They forgot to include the pics from the previous visits but, I thought I would give a sample of some of our pics from yesterday. I have to say my favorite line from this visit came from my awesome father-in-law. When we were leaving I mentioned,"She's a cutie, don't you think?" He replied,"You can't tell! It looked like her face was pressed against saran wrap. Pretty funny since it was true. She was on my right side (which has proven to be her favorite place to spend her time) and enjoyed pushing her face against my side flatting her nose. Still, I think she is perfect and can't wait to meet her. Eight and a half more weeks and counting down!

Hello squishy face!

Look at how chubby she's getting!

So, that's it for now but, when we get some of the other fun ones I'll throw them on here as well.

A Tree In The Nursery???

Sorry it has been so long since the last post. Life has been pretty crazy lately with us trying to get ready for Maisey as well as Kim preparing for last weekends Easter services. I wish I could say that we finally have some breathing room, but the fun is just beginning. Awhile back, my dad came up with the idea of building a tree in the nursery. Since we were going to be using a Winnie the Pooh theme, we thought that it would fit perfect. The question is how was it going to be built? Although we are not done, I figured that I would post some pictures so that the question of "What do you mean a tree in the nursery? How is it built?" can finally be answered. I will try to update more frequently, especially as we finish up the tree and hand the nursery over to Carol Wagner so that she can add her artistic touch!
