While the nephews were in town...

Over the last couple of weeks, we were able to spend some time with the nephews who came for their annual visit. Since they live in Connecticut it is hard to see them often, so we try to have as much fun as we can while they are here. I decided to post some of the pictures of our adventures, I hope that you enjoy them!

While the boys were here, me and Grandpa were able to take the

boys to their first MLB game and the DBacks even won! The boys had

more fun than the pictures indicate!

This was also the first time that the boys were able to meet their new cousin.

Unfortunately while they were here, Maisey was in an "I want mommy and

daddy only" mood, so the pics are of a fussy girl. We also quickly found out

that Gage does not like to ride in the car with me and Aunt Kim while Maisey

is fussy. Gage quote "She is so annoying!" We know that he meant it with love :)

We decided to surprise the nephews this year with a trip to San Deigo! They seemed

to have more fun on this trip than last years trip to Disneyland. I know, go figure!

We quickly found out that Maisey isn't the biggest fan of the ocean yet.

But she loved napping at the beach!

Update

So, this isn't the post of the nursey that Brian promised (update coming soon) but, I thought before things go totally haywire that I would post one last pre-Maisey entry. The past few weeks have been nothing but one big blur! Between multiple tests, doctors appointments, trying to get the house ready for Maisey and the fam that will be coming in town, baby showers, works commitments, the list could go on and on.....needless to say time has not slowed down for us. Some have told us to fill the last few weeks with lots of Brian and Kim time (which we've been sure to save some) and others have told us how slow time will drag until she comes (still waiting for this to happen :) but, the truth is she'll be here in a matter of days (3 to be exact) and I'm not sure any advice has really left us feeling completely prepared for the life change we are about to experience. Each day brings a multitude of emotions from anxiety about the unkown to feeling so unprepared! But, my favorite thought is that in three days we get to meet our daughter. We'll know who she looks like and have the chance to memorize every special feature. We get to start learning about how God has designed her uniquely and given her special gifts and abilities. We'll get to make mistakes that hopefully won't scar her for life and learn how to go through each day no longer a family of two but three. We are so thankful for everyone who has walked with us to this point but, we are counting on everyone to stumble along with us on this new journey (Lord knows we need the help :)

Me and my very pregnant homegirl, Pauline. It has made this pregnancy more fun (and tolerable :) having a friend on the journey just days apart! Maisey and Jillian have no choice but to be good friends and get along! I'm sure Katherine will help us enforce that! :)

Look how good of a sport Brian was! Thanks for the idea Robert! I'm sure this will be one we'll look back and laugh at (at least I will)

Me and my forever favorite~

Although you can't see my ready to pop belly well in this one, this is one of my favorites! Maybe because I'm breaking the rules and sitting indian style, maybe because you can't see the swelling in my face but, probably mostly because it documents the fun we had that night. :)

NCAA Tournament - Sweet 16

Last Thursday me and my brother Dustin decided to go to the Sweet 16 round of the NCAA Tournament at the University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale. We chose to go on the day that there were 2 games, so we got to see UConn vs. Purdue and then Memphis vs. Missouri. UConn won game 1 and Missouri took game two. Me and Dustin had a great time and it was cool seeing the stadium for the first time. Below I have posted a few pics of the experience. On a side note, I am proud to announce that as of right now, I have 3 out of the Final 4 teams in my bracket: Villanova, Michigan State and UNC. Go Spartans!

Wildlife World Zoo

As some of you may know, my dad went on a short term mission trip to Mauritania, Africa a couple of weeks ago. Thankfully he had a great trip and is now home safe. While he was gone my brother Dustin, Kim and myself were able to hang out some with mom. One of the outings that we chose was to go to the Wildlife World Zoo located in Litchfield Park. None of us had ever been before and although it is way the heck out there, it was pretty fun. I decided to post a few photos of our outing for your enjoyment.
